Together with the advisory board, Messe München has decided to postpone drinktec, the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid-food industry, until autumn 2022. The new date is 12 to 16 September 2022. In view of drinktec’s international character, this step was imperative.
Despite the Corona crisis, drinktec is experiencing strong demand for exhibition space from Germany and abroad. Three-quarters of the available exhibition space has already been booked at the present time. Volker Kronseder, Chairman of the drinktec advisory board, is pleased with the trade fair’s forward-looking action, as many exhibitors, especially those with large exhibits, would now have had to start preparation for the fair: “We very much welcome the fact that Messe München has followed the unanimous wish of the expert committee. The earlier we make this decision, the lower the costs and the greater the planning security for customers. For 2022, we expect considerably more stable and better general conditions.”
The preparations and previous planning for drinktec 2021 and the integrated oils+fats will now be seamlessly switched to the new date in 2022.
