Ornua Ingredients Europe has announced it has entered into a long-term supply partnership with Aymes International, the leading provider of oral nutritional supplements and clinical nutritional products. The partnership will mean that several million sachets of Aymes Shake powder will now be produced at Ornua’ major nutritional ingredients processing facility in Leek, Staffordshire, UK.
The contract will utilise the experience of Ornua Ingredients Europe at Leek, in the blending and packing of dairy and food powder-based beverages, new product development expertise and ability to produce high quality nutritional ingredients at scale. While the partnership has also resulted in the installation of a new £500,000 state-of-the-art single sachet packing line at Leek. This major investment further expands the company’s capacity and capabilities in the blending and packing of dairy and food based powdered beverages, with its move into a smaller sachet format expected to open up further commercial opportunities.
