Salzburger Alpenmilch Genossenschaft (owner of SalzburgMilch) and Gmundner Milch Genossenschaft plan to merge this year. The new company would be the No. 2 in the Austrian dairy industry with a turnover of around €440m and over 600m kg of milk intake.
