Syntegon subsidiary Ampack GmbH has reason to celebrate: For half a century, the company in Königsbrunn, Bavaria, has been producing filling and packaging machines for the dairy and food industry. On 23 September, the company invited customers, employees, relatives, as well as representatives from politics and business to the anniversary celebration in Königsbrunn. “We are proud of 50 years of success story as well as of contributing to the food safety of many products”, says Markus Schlumberger, Managing Director Sales at Ampack.
50 years ago, engineer Siegfried Ammann founded the company under the name Ampack Ammann and started selling packaging machines for dairy products. This was followed in 1976 by the market launch of the first fully automatic cup filling and sealing machine. In 1996, Ampack was already so big that a new company building was erected in Königsbrunn. Another milestone followed in 2012 with the affiliation to Bosch Packaging Technology – Syntegon since 2020 – and access to an international network.
