A-ware report 45% sales increase

In 2022, Royal A-ware achieved a consolidated result of €72m (+ 41%) on a turnover of €3.2bn. Compared to 2021, turnover grew by 45%. This is the result of organic growth, the impact of acquisitions and the increase in sales prices of basic dairy products. In 2022, Royal A-ware’s growth accelerated due to some targeted acquisitions, especially in the Belgian market. Net investments reached €157mn in 2022. This brought the total balance sheet to €1.4bn. Gross operating profit improved by almost 29% to €166m. Royal A-Ware employed a total of 4,066 full-time employees (+ 17.5%) at the end of 2022.

The weighted average price Royal A-Ware paid to dairy farmers in 2022 was 57.50c/kg standard milk. In 2021, it was an average of 39.06c.
