Ausnutria Dairy reports a turnover of €488.5m in the first half of 2020, 22.6% more than in the same period of the previous year. Profit increased by 32.1% to €72.8m.
The turnover of the company’s own baby food brands increased by 25% compared to the first half of 2019, these brands account for 88.4% of the total turnover of the Ausnutria Group. With baby food based on goat’s milk sold under the Kabrita brand, Ausnutria has a 60% market share in China and is number one in the world. Outside China, sales are also growing in North and South America, South Korea, Russia, the Middle East and Europe.
After a strong first quarter, Ausnutria’s sales growth slowed down slightly in the second quarter due to the impact of COVID-19 and the resulting disruption to markets worldwide.
