KG will be exhibiting at this year’s FachPack in Hall 3C, booth 262. With a modular machine portfolio, the medium-sized family owned company based in Gevelsberg/Germany serves the wide-ranging requirements of the packaging industry
with servomotor-driven case- and tray erectors as well as packaging machines including robot technology for packers and palletizing systems. Project-specific needs are covered by an individual combination of modular functional units in a system precisely tailored to the application and the customer.
Highlights of this year´s trade fair presentation will include a SFS 414 Wrap-Around/Tray-Packer to set margarine tubs into cases for the retail trade and a downstream cobot palletizer. The high-performance and utmost flexible SFS 414 machine series cover the entire spectrum of secondary packaging in open trays, display or wrap-around cartons as well as in trays with top flaps. The machine achieve an output of up to 30 packs per minute. Thanks to an intelligent control system, the output of possible products layers per minute and loading unit has been increased even further to 45 layers per minute.
The exhibit on show will focus in particular on further developments in the field of digitalization and cooperation between humans and machines. For example, program-supported format changeover will be demonstrated. In addition, machine operators will be supported by a cobot.
