Italian dairy company Latte Trento is forced to supply less UHT milk due to the cost development and declining milk collection. The company informed its trading partners of this in writing. Only partial deliveries of the premium UHT milk variety “il Meglio di noi” will be made. In addition, Trentingrana cheese production will be stopped until December, while the dairy in Pinzolo will remain closed until December.
Latte Trento’s gas bill for November 2020 was €61,276. In November 2021, it was €205,825, and compared to November next year, it is expected to rise completely out of control. Suppliers are also suffering from a tripling of electricity and gas prices.
